Branding is the process used to visually build awareness and customer loyalty. The brand identity can present a company of any size with an instantly recognizable, professional image which stands out against competitors and positions it for success. A successfully branded company or product will make it easy for marketers to sell and customers to buy.

When designing a logo or brand design, consideration should go to how the logo and image will be perceived by the customer, its meaning and the idea or impression it gives when representing the company or product. Also how it will be implemented, how it works at varying sizes and on the various media on which it will be displayed. I usually design and produce marketing collateral along with a logo design, eg. brochures, exhibition material or a website; but I can also supply a 'brand guidelines and usage' document.
